Epoxy Mio Primer

Product feature:

• This primer is based on epoxy resin and polyamide hardener and can be used as an intermediate layer.
• The adhesion of this product on Zinc rich epoxy is very high and is suitable for use in systems exposed to weather conditions and immersion in water.
• Good resistance in industrial and chemical environments and also high abration and impact resistance are the best features of above primer and with a complete system, protects in acute conditions in the long time.

Surface preparation:

• The surface under the work must be cleaned of all contaminants. In proper preparation methods, both physical and chemical, in accordance with the painting system, the desired service life, weather conditions and surface material must be considered.
• Metal surfaces The use of mechanical methods such as sandblasting up to SA 2.5 – 3 is recommended.
• Painting should be done immediately after the surface is prepared and dust from sandblasting is removed.

Method of application :

• Mix components A and B with the exact mixing ratio mentioned after adding the appropriate amount of thinner.
• According to the maximum time allowed after mixing the components, be careful to mix the two components in proportion to the workload and do not use the paint mixture if the announced time expires.
• When any of the components are not used, be sure to close the container well to prevent evaporation of existing solvents.
• Observing the appropriate time interval between the application of the primer, middle and top layers is mandatory. The minimum time required to apply the next layer is 24 hours.

safety tips:

• Due to the constant inhalation of solvent vapors of this paint in closed spaces, the use of masks, glasses and also air conditioning during painting is necessary.
• Due to the presence of solvent, this paint is flammable and should be kept away from heat, sparks and flames.
• In case of contact with skin and eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice.
